Reflecting on the initial idea to widen our show in a broader Swiss alpine context and the ongoing impact of the pandemic, Elevation is experimenting with a new, smaller scale, two-cities, two-artists model. Concentrating our efforts on two new commissions, presented simultaneously in locations in Gstaad (1049) and St. Moritz (1822), this year’s iteration is connecting two of the best-known Alpine landscapes, that of Engadin and Saanenland. In anticipation of a more expansive program in 2023, this year’s unique edition explores new possibilities looking optimistically to the future.
